The earliest recipe for S’Mores was published in 1927, in a book called Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts. Wait, the Girl Scouts invented S’Mores? They really know what’s up!
S’Mores mean it’s summertime. You’re camping in the woods with friends. The sun is sinking low in the sky, and the campfire is crackling. You’ve picked out the perfect stick to roast your marshmallow on. You smush the toasted sugary confection into warm melty chocolate and graham crackers, and sigh with delight as you eat it, watching smoke curl up towards the stars. Heaven.
Inspired by Satori’s Limited Edition S’Mores Bites, and the second level of Girl Scouts, a.k.a the Brownies, we dreamed up these super fudgy S’Mores Campfire Brownies. It’s a one-bowl recipe for easy cleanup. Studded with gooey chunks of chocolate, topped with toasted marshmallows and Satori S’Mores, these delectable treats will bring campfire vibes right into your home.
